Following the tragic incident at The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon on 6 July 2023, which claimed the lives of eight-year-olds Selena Lau and Nuria Sajjad, we have set up this online book of condolence for people to pay their tributes to the two girls.

My husband and I were enormously saddened to hear of the totally tragic deaths of Selena and Nuria, a light has disappeared forever from your lives, giving a pain, which for so long will seem beyond endurance. As bereaved parents from many years ago now, we believe you will be able to live again but it will have to be in a sadder world without Selena and Nuria; however, you will never forget them, their light will shine forever for you, and they will always be remembered too, by all who knew them. You are in our thoughts and prayers, Margaret and Chris.
May you little girls shine down brightly from above and forever be in the hearts of those who love you.
Sending your families prayers and love and blessings that you may find some comfort and peace.

Every study girl, parent and teacher know what a truly special school The Study is. No matter how many years have passed, we are all left with memories and friendships that last a lifetime. My heart aches for these girls who’ve had these times and their futures robbed from them and that the world will never get to see the women they would have grown up to be. Heaven has instead gained two beautiful souls.
My thoughts are with their families and surrounding community and may God give them all the strength to lean on each other and find a way through this horrific time together.
