  7. Dear Her Majesty and Family, I’m so very sorry for your loss.
My daughter did the Bronze DofE and throughly embraced it all despite being completely out her comfort zone.
I wish you all well in going forward and much love.

  8. So sad to hear of the Duke of Edinburgh’s passing. But we are fortunate to have had him live in our lifetime. His life was full of achievement. He has left behind fantastic legacies for the people of this country and throughout the commonwealth (I am from New Zealand) through his charity work and his Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. An amazing example of selfless devotion, a true ambassador for the UK. An interesting, ‘one of a kind’ character, sadly, a dying breed.

  9. My condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and her family on the sad passing of Prince Philip. A man of public, military and family service, and support to his wife. He had true grit and a forthright spirit. We hope, (my children especially), that the Queen will have strength, support, and love going forward.

  10. My deepest Condolences for her Majesty the Queen and the royal family.

  12. Thank you for your long service and commitment to this country over the many years and especially for the introduction and management of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, for which both my children participated in and thoroughly enjoyed and grew through it.

  16. Thank you for your inspiration to young people. Your idea of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme took off in a way beyond your expectations. I have personally seen so many young peoples lives changed and challenged by their volunteering, skills or expedition. A few were lucky enough to meet you and I know that they felt valued by the experience. A rare gift to the a country.

  17. We will always remember you for your endless dedication to The Queen and our country.
    God Bless Phillip.
    Rest In Peace.
