Mitcham Cricket Club is looking for new kit sponsors for Youth Teams. And this year, with the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, will give any potential sponsors many extra benefits.
Mitcham Cricket Club – the first MCC – is this year Merton Council’s Golden Jubilee project to raise funds for a new pavilion for the Club.
As well as a regular Club programme of 80 matches, Mitcham Cricket Club will also be playing its first ever matches against Hambledon. Mitcham and Hambledon, the two oldest cricket clubs in the UK, will play matches at Mitcham and Hambledon. These matches are sure to attract a nationwide media audience.
The Club will also be involved in a number of special events during the season, including training weeks with local schoolchildren and other special matches – including one attempt at a cricketing world record. This should again attract a national television audience.
