Council calls on residents for comments on revised Plough Lane planning application

Merton Council is calling on residents to send in their views on revisions to the planning application, put forward by Galliard Homes and AFC Wimbledon, for the Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium site in Plough Lane.

The consultation is open until 8 October 2015.

The council will consider all the responses before Merton’s Planning Application Committee makes a decision on the application. The application will then go to the Mayor of London for his view and his decision on the application.

The planning application is on the council’s website, reference 14/P4361.

Merton Council’s director of environment and regeneration, Chris Lee, said: “A lot of work has gone into the planning application process for this site to make sure that we take into consideration the needs and concerns of the community while we ensure a quality development is built in this part of the borough.”
