Residents have until Friday 31 August at 5pm to submit a single question using up to 50 words to cabinet members at the next full council meeting.
The question will be answered at the council meeting on Wednesday 12 September. Questions must relate to a matter that the council has a responsibility for or an issue which affects the borough.
People asking questions are welcome to attend the meeting and ask an extra oral question seeking clarification on any point made in the original answer.
Please submit your question in writing to the Democratic Services team by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post or by hand to the Merton Civic Centre offices, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX (deadline for receipt 5pm on the 31 August).
The deadlines for the next two council meetings are as follows:
21 November (deadline for receipt of your question 9 November 5pm)
9 February 2013 (deadline for receipt of your question 25 January 2013 5pm)
